Our parent company, ELETTRONICA REVERBERI, laid the foundations for what would become a benchmark of excellence in the technology sector. With a strong focus on the design and production of smart lighting systems, the company transformed the public sector market, driving innovative solutions for energy efficiency.
It was in this setting that a group of electronics experts came together, driven by the foresight and flexibility needed to navigate a fast-changing market. This is where our story begins.
2012
Mantis is born – the product of a multidisciplinary approach enabling the team to combine their various skills and expertise, working together with prominent figures such as Francesco D’Andrea, an expert in Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine, renowned industrial designer Antonio Sassi, and Franco Missoli, distinguished researcher and leading figure in biophysics. United by visionary ideas and dedication, we patented the first Mantis technologies, marking a major turning point in the field of aesthetics.
2015
Mantis makes its début on both the Italian and international markets with the launch of laser hair removal devices: the HR808! This device represents not only the height of technological innovation but also the culmination of our relentless pursuit of excellence.
The use of high-quality, resilient raw materials sourced from Emilia Romagna – Italy’s leading centre of biomedical technology – ensures we are able to provide superior quality standards.
With the launch of this device, we demonstrated our strength and reliability in the industry, offering revolutionary products designed specifically to meet the needs of professionals in the medical-aesthetic sector and the wider market.
2019 - 2024
Mantis embarks on an ambitious path of international expansion, introducing a wide range of revolutionary devices for the Face, Body and Laser Hair Removal.

At Mantis, we pursue excellence through an in-house laboratory that brings together the expertise of engineers, dermatologists, technicians and internationally renowned researchers. Among them is Franco Missoli, a biophysicist and holder of 149 patents, many of which relate to electronic instruments used in Medical Physics.
Missoli has led groundbreaking research aimed at developing systems that safeguard human health through advanced electronic technologies, including the D.E.S. Technology patented for our MR 991 device. Our mission is clear: to innovate for personal well-being.
